Review your notifications options
Last Updated: September 2, 2025Access notifications To check system notifications, click the bell icon located in the top right corner of the dashboard. This will display a dropdown list with recent notifications, such as updates on documents, signature statuses, or other important system messages relevant to your account activity. Notification detail Once the notification panel is open, you’ll see a list of alerts. Each item includes the type of notification—for example, “Document signed”—the name of the user who triggered the event, the document involved, and the date and time of the action. A red dot indicates that the notification is unread. Notification settings In the Notifications section, users can customize how and when they receive updates. The first option lets you configure email reminders for pending signatures by specifying a time interval in days and an hour (UTC format), then clicking “Save.” Below, toggles allow you to enable alerts from the support chat when a response is received, send email reminders to Legale users with documents pending signature, and automatically receive a copy via email each time a document is signed. Additional notification options include alerts for document expiration by selecting contacts to notify and setting how many days in advance the reminder should be sent, and finally, activating the option to receive email notifications whenever a document is uploaded through an API or supplier integration.
Set notifications alarms for your documents
Last Updated: September 2, 2025Setting notification alarms To begin configuring a notification alarm for a document, first select the file using the checkbox on the left. Then, focus on the top menu bar the “Notification alarm” button, this is the control you’ll use to proceed with the alert setup. Configure notification alarm After selecting the document, click on the Notification alarm button located in the top menu. This option allows you to set alerts or expiration notifications related to the selected file. To create a new notification alarm, click the Create alarm button. Alarm configuration fields Once inside the alarm creation form, complete the required fields such as the alarm title, description, start and end dates and times. You can also configure recurrence, select whether the alarm should appear in the notification center, and choose if an email should be sent. Additionally, you may add recipients to receive the email notification. When finished, click the Save button to store the alarm.
